2017 Jaguar XF S is a feisty midsize luxury-sport sedan
A powerful supercharged V6 engine, and sharp handling capabilities make the 2017 Jaguar XF S a worthy alternative to the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A6.
With 380-horsepower coming from a 3.0-liter supercharged V6, the Jaguar XF S can go toe-to-toe with cars like the BMW 540i xDrive sedan and Mercedes-AMG E43.
Jaguar says that with all-wheel drive, the XF S can sprint to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds.
Connected to supercharged V6 engine is a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Jaguar XF S rides on 20-inch wheels wrapped with Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season tires.
Included on the XF S are adaptive LED headlights.
An optional technology package adds an InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with 10.2-inch touchscreen, navigation, 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster and an 825-watt Meridian surround-sound system.
To give the exterior some more visual appeal, an optional black design package adds a gloss black grille, fender vents and trunk trim.
The EPA rates the supercharged V6 engine at 20 mpg in the city, and 28 mpg on the highway.
Also included in this Jaguar XF S test car is an optional head-up display system.
To give the cabin a sportier vibe, carbon-fiber veneer interior trim is available for an additional $790.
