2017 Infiniti Q60 brings sharp looks and 400 hp to the luxury sport coupe party
Infiniti's third-generation Q60 is on the hunt for the BMW 4 Series, Audi A5, Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe and Lexus RC with aggressive looks and an available 400-hp twin-turbo V6.
The third-generation Q60 hits the luxury sport coupe scene offering a three engine lineup that includes a turbocharged four-cylinder and a pair of twin-turbocharged V6s.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder featuring 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque serves as the base engine for the new Q60.
An all-new twin-turbocharged V6 engine comes in two different flavors. A 300-horsepower example powers mid-range Q60s, while a 400-horsepower unit is installed in the range-topping Q60 Red Sport variants.
All available engines get mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Sadly, Infiniti has no plans to offer a manual gearbox in the Q60.
In addition to the 400-horsepower engine, Red Sport models receive unique 19-inch wheels, exclusive exhaust tips and red brake calipers.
Like all Infiniti vehicles, the Q60 features a crescent cut C-pillar design.
The Q60 is also available with an all-wheel-drive system that's capable of diverting 100 percent torque to the rear wheels.
A second-generation direct adaptive steering system is available on the Q60 for an additional $1,000 that offers improved steering feel and feedback.
Available technology features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention and blind spot monitoring.
The 2017 Q60 is in dealers now and starts at $38,950. Click through for lots more photos.
