Is this the cushiest truck around?
If you're looking for a truck with heated and cooled seats, leather interior and oodles of available features, the 2017 Ford F-150 King Ranch could be your perfect truck.
2017 Ford F-150
The 2017 Ford F-150 is available in seven models with five engines to choose from, plus your choice of three cab and bed sizes and two drivetrain options.
The King Ranch trim here comes standard with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, but our tester was sporting the new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6.
The smaller 3.5-liter puts out 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, nearly as much horsepower and more torque than the V8.
The F-150 starts at a smidge over $27,000, but the options can add up quickly.
For example, the tailgate step is part of a $3,780 optional package.
Adaptive cruise control, which keeps the F-150 following the vehicle ahead at a predetermined distance, is a standalone $1,250 option.
The Goodyear Wrangler tires are not the most aggressive you could get, so take it easy on those dirt tracks.
The King Ranch is pretty cushy on the inside, with heated and cooled front seats and heated rear seats.
New to towing? A checklist guides you through the process so you won't forget a step.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the Sync3 infotainment system.
