Audi's littlest car goes for big power in the all-new 2017 TT RS (pictures)

The TT RS is a performance-oriented TT with the looks to match.

Power comes by way of a 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine, which puts out 400 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

With power sent to all four wheels, the TT RS Coupe can hit 62 mph in 3.7 seconds (3.9 for the TT RS Roadster).

The Roadster's soft top can be dropped at speeds up to 31 mph.

The rear taillights are OLED units with a "3D" design, the first time these have been used in a production Audi vehicle.

As with other TT models, the TT RS features Audi's Virtual Cockpit, which replaces the standard infotainment screen with a 12.3-inch screen where the gauges normally rest.

A special RS-only infotainment screen gives buyers access to tire pressure readouts, instant torque figures and g-forces.

Connectivity fans will be happy to know that there's an embedded 4G LTE modem with Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities.

The hands-free system's microphones are embedded in the seatbelts in the Roadster, so you can still make calls with the top down.

Both cars launch in Europe in the fall, and pricing starts at €66,400 (about $75,000, directly converted).
