The 2015 Nissan GT-R is an all-wheeled powerhouse (pictures)

This is it, the 2015 Nissan GT-R! Ours was delivered in a lovely shade of red, a premium color that will add $3,000 to the base $101,770 MSRP. Converted, that would be about £64,780 or AU$119,350, and the equivalent would be AU$3,515 or £1,910 for the red paint.

The stance is wide and low, with LED lights paving the way.

The GT-R, with its advanced all-wheel-drive system, is ideal in questionable grip situations -- like a road covered in leaves, say.

20-inch forged RAYS wheels are standard, which says something about the performance of this car.

A wing at the back provides some visual interest, but blends well with the lines of the body.

The iconic circular tails are still here in force.

These cross-drilled Brembo brakes are massive.

Nissan doesn't go overboard with the branding, but there's little doubt about what kind of car this is.

This is the twin-turbo V-6, which puts down 545 horsepower.

There'll be no confusion come oil-change time.

A decent trunk? In a supercar? Yes, indeed.

The front seats are comfortable, though some may find them a touch too narrow.

Sorry, manual lovers, no choice here but the six-speed double-clutch gearbox. Shifts are fast, if sometimes brutal.

The GT-R is known as "Godzilla" in the automotive community, and for good reason. It is a monster of a car.
