The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is one high-performance ragtop.
Chevrolet released preview photos and specs for the Corvette Z06 Convertible, which will debut at the New York auto show next week.

For its convertible version, the Z06 uses a power-operated soft-top.
Chevrolet says the structure of the Z06 was so stiff it did not need to add bracing to the convertible version to preserve rigidity.
One notable change: air intakes for transmission cooling move from the rear fenders to underneath the car.
As with the Z06 Coupe, the new convertible gets a supercharged, 6.2-liter V-8.
There is virtually no weight difference between the convertible and the coupe on which it is based.
The Corvette Z06 has more power and is designed to be more track-capable than the Corvette Stingray.
Chevrolet preserved the cabin design in the convertible version.
There will certainly be more headroom for helmeted drivers in the Z06 Convertible.
The convertible top can be operated at speeds up to 30 mph.
