Chrysler sharpens the 300 sedan's look (pictures)

Chrysler gave its full-size sedan, the 300, an update for the 2015 model year, showing off refined looks and new technology at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 300 model can be had in three different trims: 300C, 300C Platinum or the 300S as seen here.

Chrysler made refinements to the grille design, a prominent feature on the 300. This 300S version gets black accents.

As with the previous generation, a 3.6-liter V-6 comes as standard, with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 available.

As before, the 300 sedan is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle with optional all-wheel drive.

A new electric power-steering system adds efficiency.

The previous 300 offers a very comfortable ride from its fixed suspension, retained by Chrysler for the new model.

As a full-size sedan, the 300 seats five.

This 300S edition comes with sport seats in front.

Chrysler offers a host of high-tech features in the 300, including adaptive cruise control and its latest UConnect head unit.

The instrument cluster comes standard with a 7-inch LCD for trip data, navigation, communication and entertainment.

Chrysler ditches a conventional shifter for this dial, which controls an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The UConnect head unit uses an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and features a data connection powering apps such as Yelp for destination search.
