BMW introduced the 4-series last year, a new coupe model, following up with the M4 performance version. Now BMW fits the M4 with a retractable hard top.
Like the M4, the M4 Convertible can be had with LED headlights and other high-tech options.
The debut of the convertible version of the M4 comes as no surprise, as BMW followed the 4-series coupe with a convertible version.
The retractable hard top is power-operated, and stows in the trunk.
All the hard-top M4's performance tech, such as the 425-horsepower 3-liter engine and adaptive suspension, are available in the convertible.
Optional adaptive suspension should help counter the weight imbalance that comes from shifting the roof around.
The M4 comes with the latest version of iDrive, BMW's infotainment system.
Along with the suspension, the steering, throttle, and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission all have performance settings.
