2014 Infiniti Q60: Same as it ever was (pictures)
Not much has changed with Infiniti's sport coupe, other than its name. However, what was an excellent car five years ago suffers little from the passage of time, besides lacking modern connected car features.
For the 2014 model year, Infiniti renames the G37 coupe, calling it the Q60. Little else has changed.
The model retains aesthetically pleasing styling thanks to more than 10 years of refinement.
This model has the Sport package, giving it 19-inch alloy wheels, a limited slip differential, and a sport-tuned suspension.
The 3.7-liter V-6 engine produces 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
Infiniti is likely to update the Q60, following many of the new tech and design cues seen on the Q50 sedan, within the next few years.
The Q60 incorporates a very good rearview camera, showing trajectory and distance lines.
The trunk is oddly shallow -- don't expect to carry many groceries back here.
The cabin features premium car amenities, such as thick leather on the seats.
A separator between the rear seats makes it clear that only two passengers can fit back here.
The navigation system and Bose stereo come as part of option packages.
A seven-speed automatic transmission, with a sport mode, comes standard.
The navigation system reacts well to inputs, and stores its maps on a hard drive.
The Bluetooth hands-free phone system includes typical features, such as contact list integration.
The stereo can play music from iOS devices, USB drives, or Bluetooth-streaming-capable devices.
