2013 Nissan 370Z preview (photos)
Nissan is showing an updated 370Z at the Chicago Auto Show, but the changes appear more cosmetic than performance oriented.
For its 2013 update to the 370Z, Nissan simplified the grille surround and added the now de rigueur LED running lights.
The engine remains the same for 2013, a 3.7-liter V-6 producing 332 horsepower. And transmission options are still a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic.
Nissan adds what it calls "Euro-tuned shock absorbers" for the Sport trim.
Nissan changed the style of the available 19-inch Rays wheels, and painted the brake calipers red.
Another cosmetic change was replacing the black cap on the back of the car for a red reflector.
The above car is shown in the new Magma Red color. Another color, Midnight Blue, was also announced.
Few changes were made to the 370Z's cabin. The NISMO 370Z gets an enhanced Bose audio system, with two additional speakers and two subwoofers.
Nissan did not bother to change the fuel gauge, the lights of which become unreadable with sun glare.
