Infiniti has established its design language well, extending it to the G and M sedans as well as the FX and EX crossovers. All of these models exhibit prominently curved fenders and a bubble-like roofline.
The cabin can handle five occupants, with room left over for luggage. The interior is not as large as with the FX35 is, so bringing four people on a road trip would be a stretch. For two people, it would be very comfortable ride.
Infiniti equips the EX35 with a five-speed-automatic transmission, a little primitive in an era when six-speed transmissions are coming in to vogue. The lack of the a sixth gear means the engine has to run faster at freeway speeds.
