The Toyota Prius, the Lexus CT 200h, and the Lexus HS 250h will be back in production in Japan on Monday, according to Toyota.
The Japanese automaker halted production after the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the country on March 11.
Toyota has been issuing statements of daily updates regarding not only vehicle production in Japan, but also the shipping of parts to its North America plants.
The company today said in a statement that Prius production will be restarted at the company's Tsutsumi plant, while the Lexus CT 200h and HS 250h will resume production at Toyota Motor Kyushu.
Earlier this week, Toyota reopened some of its plants that produce parts for overseas production. The company has 500 parts suppliers in North America, but delays are expected at plants that receive parts from Japan that were already in the pipeline, the company said.
"Dealerships continue to have an ample supply of vehicles, our ships continue to deliver vehicles to North America, and we are doing all we can to ensure our dealers have products available for customers," the company said.
