Toyota and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design have conjured up a car with augmented reality windows.
Check out the video below to see a side window that allows the passenger to draw and scribble, zoom in on the scenery, translate the features passing by into the local language and estimate distances to landmarks.
While the footage in the video is a simulation, the company will have two working prototypes at the "Our Future Mobility Now" exhibition at the Autoworld Museum in Brussels, Belgium, between 22 June and 25 June.
Unseen in the video, the cars on display will also feature a panorama sunroof that's kitted out with the same technology. The sunroof can display information about the sky, as well as virtual constellations, presumably only at night.
