This was a very special week. Instead of Carfection and Roadshow faffing about on different sides of the globe, both teams were together at Gingerman Raceway to shoot 14 videos in five days. It was busy, it was tiring, but most of all, it was absolutely effing awesome.
Carfection traveled all the way to The Middle of Nowhere, Michigan to film a few videos of cars that the group can't drive in the UK. Namely, they came here to shoot the Dodge Viper ACR, the Dodge Charger Hellcat and the Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R. Three absolute track beasts, being driven by a man whose Twitter profile picture involves a scarf.
Roadshow arrived to film a few individual films, along with two-car Shootout and three-car Rivals films. There were nine cars in total -- the aforementioned triumvirate, plus the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport (a substitute because Chevrolet managed to lose all the Z06s), Ford Focus RS, Jaguar F-Type SVR, Lotus Evora 400, BMW M2 and Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The filming has wrapped, but the editing has just begun. Pray for our video team.
