The Smart ForTwo is sporting a new look for 2012. With a refreshed grille, wheels, and interior, this is the smartest-looking Smart yet.

The changes to the ForTwo begin with larger radiator grille and integrated logo. The changes also include optional LED daytime driving lights that are arranged horizontally. The new design also features redesigned front aprons, muscular side skirts, and modified rear aprons.

"The way in which the ForTwo now displays the Smart logo more prominently stands for the brand's new self-confidence," Smart CEO Annette Winkler said in a press release. "The Smart ForTwo has long become an icon that is a defining feature of urban traffic throughout the world."

This year the Smart ForTwo has seven color options--including matte anthracite for the first time. The Smart ForTwo Brabus Xclusive is available as an option in white. New soft-top colors for the cabrio are also available.

The new Smart ForTwo will be available in the U.K. in April, and in the U.S. in May.
