Launch control, Ford Raptors and the 'Tesla Model 4': Our week on Instagram

If you were following us on Instagram, you'd know what we're talking about already.

Andrew Krok Reviews Editor / Cars
Cars are Andrew's jam, as is strawberry. After spending years as a regular ol' car fanatic, he started working his way through the echelons of the automotive industry, starting out as social-media director of a small European-focused garage outside of Chicago. From there, he moved to the editorial side, penning several written features in Total 911 Magazine before becoming a full-time auto writer, first for a local Chicago outlet and then for CNET Cars.

It's Friday, so you know what that means. No, it doesn't mean I'm filling the end of my day by crawling Instagram and finding the best pictures from the past week on both the Carfection and Roadshow accounts. Oh, wait, yes it does.

The lucky schmucks at Carfection have had quite the interesting week. Most of the week was spent spinning together a new video on Porsche's latest 911 Turbo S, and they made sure to grab some wonderful video. Alex Goy also taught someone (we're not saying who) to drift in a Ford Focus RS. Yes, I can assure you that CBS knows what we're doing and still has no problem signing our paychecks. What a time to be alive.

Speaking of living, we did plenty of it over on the Roadshow side. Antuan Goodwin made a Dragonball Z joke that I and maybe five other people understood. Ol' Jonny Wong went up to New England to give a new Mercedes a whirl. Tim Stevens went to Tesla's NUMMI factory to "spy" the new "Tesla Model 4." Emme Hall got one of the first rides in a 2017 Ford Raptor. Lucky duck.

Finally, Chris Paukert made a last-ditch effort to avoid editor-sanctioned public mockery by throwing up a quick picture of the Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid's (admittedly terrible) gauge cluster. Could Chevrolet not afford a bit of lettering? Yeesh.
