Honda today released an image of the new CR-V crossover concept; this is the fourth generation of the popular vehicle. The new crossover has a bolder look and more fuel-efficient engine options.

The Japanese automaker revealed the latest CR-V in a press release, along with the announcement that the CR-V will be available in the United States by the end of 2011, and in Europe in Autumn 2012.

The new crossover has a more aggressive look compared with the previous model. The CR-V features deeper sculpting of the body lines and a bolder front fascia.

According to Honda, the new CR-V sports a lower front bumper design that integrates more smoothly into the fascia for improved aerodynamics. The rear features vertical taillights with a more three-dimensional style that wraps further into the design of the vehicle.

The wildly popular CR-V is sold in more than 160 countries throughout Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Africa. It will be displayed at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California, in September.
