Buy a Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang, get free track driving lessons

Shockingly, not everyone buying track-friendly cars has experience in that kind of driving.

The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is one capable beast of a sports car, no matter whether you buy a GT350 or a GT350R. Naturally, not every buyer will be able to take advantage of the car's capabilities straight away. Realizing this, Ford's offering free track lessons to any buyer willing to head yonder Utah way.

This coming April marks the beginning of the GT350 Track Attack program at Utah Motorsports Campus in the nigh-unpronounceable Tooele, Utah. Over the course of one day, GT350 owners will receive tutorials both in the classroom and on the track from Ford's own performance driving instructors.

That's just the base package, though. For additional coin, owners can extend the program to a second day, including both driving and non-driving activities. Ford will also allow participants the chance to take a spin in one of its race-prepped Mustangs or the venerable Boss 302.

Naturally, the whole kit and caboodle isn't on the house. Owners will be responsible for lodging and airfare. Thankfully, bringing your own car to the event isn't mandatory -- Ford will let you drive one of its GT350s instead of schlepping across the country in, at most, moderate comfort.
