You'll be supporting our crack team of video shoots and generally increasing our awesomeness quota.journalists for a month, writing Car Tech stories for Crave, attending product launches, helping us organise
Your job, should you choose to accept it, will be to assist in the sourcing, researching and writing of exciting and engaging news stories that bear the hallmarks of your love for cars and technology. You'll be liaising with PRs, providing production assistance on Car Tech video shoots, coming up with ideas, booking shoot locations, sourcing props, and filming, capturing and logging footage.
In return, you'll get real-life journalism experience on the UK's leading consumer-technology reviews site, in front of an audience of nearly 6 million UK readers.
To qualify, you'll need a love of consumer tech, a passion for cars, and the ability to write with wit, flair and accuracy. A love for the Internet and social media wouldn't do any harm either. Ideally, you'll have had work published already, such as in your own blog or in a fanzine. You'll also have bags of enthusiasm and ideas, plenty of self-motivation and a professional manner.
We're based in Southwark, near London Bridge. While this is an unpaid internship, we'll cover your travel expenses in zones 1 to 6. Ideally, you'll be ready to start in February, but we're flexible on dates.
