Sony has announced that Gran Turismo 5 will be available in Australia in three flavours from November 2010, with purchasers of the top-of-the-line version in the running to win a supercar.
The three tier GT5 range comprises a standard edition (AU$120), collector's edition (AU$130) and a signature edition (AU$300).
Additions for the collector's edition include a copy of Apex magazine with hints and tips for driving and tuning, a set of five art cards, five ready-to-race "ChromeLine"-tuned cars and a dynamic theme for your PS3.
The signature edition comes in a metal case that contains the game, a 1:43 scale model of the gull-wing, GT-branded leather wallet and key fob, the aforementioned Apex magazine and a branded USB key with a behind-the-scenes video.
In-game upgrades extend to the collector's edition's five "ChromeLine" cars and an additional six "Stealth" cars, including theand McLaren F1 supercars.
Signature edition buyers will also score a chance to win an AU$464,000. Unfortunately, buyers in 21 other countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and the UK) will also be vying for the same car.
