Buick's 'sportier' Cascada ST can be had in blue, blue and also blue

Eiffel 65 would be proud of this one.

Automakers love releasing special editions focused on specific paint colors. Fiat Chrysler's released small-batch Dodge and Jeep vehicles with throwback paint options, and now Buick joins the fray with its hope-you-like-blue Cascada ST.

ST stands for Sport Touring, but I'll be honest, there's not a lot of sport here. The major additions to the normal Cascada include new 20-inch wheels, black interior trim bits, sport pedals and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Otherwise, the ST is loaded with every option available on other Cascadas. It'll set you back $37,885, which is about $4,000 more than a base Cascada. A fully-loaded Cascada in any other color will run about $37,385, so it stands to reason that you're only paying about $500 for all the kit mentioned above. In that sense, it's not a bad price.

The only catch is that you must love the color blue. The Cascada ST is available in a paint color unique to this car, True Blue Metallic, which isn't a bad name as far as paint colors are concerned. If you're willing to engage your inner Tobias Fünke, the Cascada ST could be right up your alley.

Are we really calling this a flat-bottomed steering wheel?
