Velocity Micro CineMagix Grand Theater review: Velocity Micro CineMagix Grand Theater

Review Sections

Wrapping up the features discussion, we think networking is an all-important consideration for a home theater PC. Assuming you have a traditional desktop or laptop at home as well, you're going to want to transmit your media from one device to another, and many people will also want to minimize living room cable clutter. Our CineMagix Grand Theater review unit came with dual 10/100/1000MBps standard network adapters. Velocity Micro also offers an 802.11b/g adapter for an extra $59, and it plans to add wider bandwidth 802.11n in the future.

Velocity Micro's default support plan with the CineMagix Grand Theater covers you for the standard year with toll-free tech support hours from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT on Saturday. You can extend the warranty for a longer duration and for 24/7 emergency phone support. Velocity Micro's Web site provides extensive support resources, as well.
