Sony VAIO VGN-FJ68GP/W review: Sony VAIO FJ68GP/W

The Good Performs better than similarly configured competitors. Superb display. Attractive. Quite light given its large dimensions. Durable magnesium alloy chassis. Memory Stick Pro/Duo reader. Full-size keyboard and large mouse buttons. Typing comfort is enhanced by raised palm rests.

The Bad Middle of the road battery life. Integrated graphics means dismal gaming performance. Sleek design comes at a price premium. Card reader only supports proprietary Sony formats. There’s no ExpressCard slot, Bluetooth, or Gigabit Ethernet port. No multimedia quick-launch buttons. No instant-on feature.

The Bottom Line The VAIO FJ68GP/W continues Sony’s tradition of stylish, feature-rich notebooks. Its performance is also impressive, making it a great choice for those with an AU$2000 budget.
