Like a Polaroid, but for your smartphone. James Martin/CNET

LAS VEGAS -- Polaroid made instant cameras popular, and now Prynt is looking to do the same, but with your smartphone. By docking your camera into the case -- or via Bluetooth connection -- you can print any photo instantly. We checked it out here at the 2015 International CES.

As a case, it's rather bulky and too big to put in your pocket, but as an accessory, it's an awesome gadget for photography fans. The Prynt case uses a thermal printer, so you never have to worry about buying ink. The photo quality itself isn't very sharp and the range of colors is limited, but it has the low-res charm that instant cameras are known for.

A Kickstarter campaign is set to launch soon and the projected price for the Prynt is $99. Converted, that's about £65 or AU$120. Check back on CNET for updates, as well as information on the other cool tech coming out of CES 2015.
