Why You Can Trust CNET Panasonic's ZS60 camera lets you adjust focus after you shoot
Along with a bevy of shooting options, including 4K video and stills, the compact 30x zoom camera announced at CES 2016 uses high-speed autofocus to make sure the subject you want is sharp.

The Panasonic Lumix ZS60 has a lot of interesting features. It can capture 4K-resolution video and use that to basically shoot 8-megapixel photos at 30 frames per second. In addition to its 3-inch touchscreen it has a built-in electronic viewfinder, which is remarkable because the camera is only 1.5 inches (38mm) thick. Panasonic also tucked a 30x 24-720mm zoom lens into its body.
But perhaps the feature I'm most excited to try is Panasonic's Post Focus. This isn't only about changing perspective after you shoot by digitally blurring out a subject to imitate a shallow depth of field (though you can do that with it). Post Focus uses the camera's high-speed autofocus system to determine the distance between the camera and the subject, which it uses to capture the best focus for 49 individual areas within each frame.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS60 will be in stores in mid-March for $450, which converts to about £300 or AU$625.
