Quick Take: MusicRebellion is a Web-based music store that offers songs in the secure WMA format from top-tier artists and indie-type bands. We were surprised to find that the price per download for some tunes was even less (85 cents) than what you'd pay at the bargain-touting Wal-Mart Music Downloads store. MusicRebellion has a few features we haven't seen elsewhere, such as the ability to specify the naming conventions of the songs you buy, as well as a zip-code finder to help you track down local artists. The usage rules are simple, and the site even includes instructions to transfer purchased songs from one computer to another. If your MP3 player handles secure WMA files, this store is worth checking out.
