iDevices makes a selection of Bluetooth-and-app-enabled cooking thermometers that send you updates on your food even if you're across the house. The company was also named as an early Apple HomeKit partner at WWDC back in June. More recently, it announced vague plans for a secret HomeKit-related product that's expected to launch this fall.

In the meantime, iDevices has unveiled iShower2, a waterproof device designed to bring your favorite tunes into the bathroom. It costs $100 in the US, with UK and Australian prices yet to be announced, although the US price converts to £60 or AU$115.

Just like its line of thermometers, the battery-powered iShower2 uses Bluetooth tech so you can listen to music or podcasts while you suds up without risking water damage. And, you'll still be able to hit play, pause, skip and more straight from the iShower2 display.

As the name suggests, this product is a revamp of iDevices' existing iShower device. iDevices says that this latest iteration will have speakerphone capabilities so you can answer or ignore calls, as well as improved sound quality and battery life (it uses three AA batteries, while the previous version used three AAAs). It also claims to have a 200-foot (60 meter) range so your phone doesn't have to be in the same room.

It has a handful of different mounting options depending on your shower setup, space for as many as five user profiles and a built-in LED clock. iDevices' $100 iShower2 is available for pre-order now and should ship in November (an additional fee applies for international shipping).
