Quick Take: The Allways Bluetooth Headset by Cardo Systems was a bit of a mixed bag. While it had a user-friendly controls and a highly flexible ear loop, the earpiece sat rather uncomfortably in our ear, and the overall style was uninspiring. Similarly, while you get loads of accessories and a selection of changeable faceplates for personalization, the headset felt heavy and was equally uncomfortable when we used it with the included eyeglass clip.
We tested the headset on the Nokia 6820, the Motorola V600, and the Sony Ericsson T616. The overall performance was below average; callers said we sounded hollow, and we detected an audible buzz. Battery life was a bit better, however. Cardo promises 6 hours of talk time and 5.4 days of talk time. In our tests, we beat the promised standby time by 2 days.
