Canon Pixma MP100

One step up from an entry-level multifunction, the MP170 accepts digital memory cards and hooks up to PictBridge cameras.

Canon Pixma MP170
The two-tone gray Canon Pixma MP170 includes slots for memory cards and a PictBridge camera. For only $20 more, we're inclined to consider the MP450 a better value for its color picture-preview display. Still, the four individual ink tanks of the MP170 avoid the cartridge-swapping forced upon you by many budget inkjet multifunctions, with ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters. Canon promises that the MP170 will print a 4x6-inch photo in 55 seconds. Stay tuned to our review after CNET Labs gets its hands on this device and clocks its speed.
