HP Pavilion dm3-1002 review:

HP Pavilion dm3-1002

HP claimed an "all-day" battery life in its press release information for the Pavilion dm3, and to our great surprise and satisfaction, we found the claim accurate. The HP dm3-1002's six-cell battery lasted an astounding 7 hours and 10 minutes in our tests, which are already on the conservative side, using continuous video playback. A fuller day of usage could certainly be expected out of the dm3's battery under more dialed-down, casual-use conditions, but the 7-plus hours makes this a great laptop for plane flights. But, with no internal optical drive, you'd better make sure you've loaded up your movies on your hard drive.
