Zyxel's Multy X Mesh Wi-Fi system provides reliable coverage
Zyxel's Multy X is great for people new to mesh Wi-Fi and it provides reliable coverage in a large home.

The Multy X is a two-piece tri-band AC3000 mesh Wi-Fi system with a dedicated backhaul band.
You can only use the Multy X app to set up your network, but it offers helpful tips like telling you if your satellite unit is in a bad location.
While each Multy X unit is larger than most mesh devices, they look normal enough to place out in the open -- which should give you better Wi-Fi coverage.
Each mesh device has one gigabit WAN port, three gigabit LAN ports and one USB 2.0 port, but it doesn't support network storage.
You can't use a web interface to customize your network, but the app has a variety of features for testing your speed and managing some settings.
During testing, I saw consistent speeds from both mesh devices, but its top speed was only about average.
