Fingerprints for extra security
In addition to a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, the device is equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, a 1,400-pixel resolution and a fingerprint reader on the rear.
Bringing in the noise
ZTE put a big emphasis on this handset's audio experience, decking it out with dual front-facing speakers, Dolby Atmos audio technology and an advanced chipset that will allow the phone to both play and record crisp high fidelity audio.
Neat camera tricks
The Axon 7 has a 20-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, 4K video recording and the ability to let users readjust the focus on photos after they are captured.
For your selfies
On the front is an 8-megapixel shooter.
Quick charging battery
The device features a USB Type-C port to charge the 3,140mAh non-removable battery. The battery also has Quick Charge 3.0 technology from Qualcomm.
A few memory options
There are two memory options for the handset. The most widely available one will have 64GB of internal memory with 4GB of RAM. Another variant will have 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. Both will have expandable memory up to 128GB.
Unlocked and inexpensive
Compatible with carriers using either GSM or CDMA technology, ZTE hopes its affordable Axon 7 will win over budget-conscious buyers looking for a premium phone.
