Check out YouTube 360

There are tons of standard videos on YouTube, but YouTube 360 lets you interact with videos by giving you the ability to look around as they play.

In this slideshow, we put together a collection of the best 360 videos with everything from beautiful landscapes to high speed racing.

Note that we don't have the actual videos in this gallery, but we've included links for each in the sidebar.

You'll be able to watch all of these on a standard Web browser using a mouse, but we think it's a much better experience to turn your body as you view the action from your smartphone.

Hamilton Island, Australia

This Qantas Airlines promotional video for Hamilton Island was clearly made to entice you to book the next flight to Australia. But with 360-degree views shot while flying in planes and helicopters followed by an underwater scuba session, this video has it all.

Taking the plunge

Not all 360 videos come from the pros. This simple vacation video from Maui lets you watch as people jump from a cliff into a pool below. At the end, the camera man lets you experience the jump, too.

Wait, is that this room?

YouTube 360 has a whole section dedicated to horror videos, but this scary video short will have you looking over your shoulder repeatedly. It's not for the squeamish, but you'll definitely get that creepy feeling.

Experience Le Mans

Something about racing videos make them a natural fit for a 360 camera. In this one, you can experience the legendary track in Le Mans, France shot with six GoPro cameras.

A race to the finish

This second driving video from Esso is especially cool because it's a race against two slower cars that leave the starting grid almost 15 seconds before you do. You really get a sense for the speed in this one, and you can hear the comments from back in the pits over the radio.

'Star Wars'

We're suckers for anything that has to do with "Star Wars," so this quick tour of  a landing bay on the Death Star is too cool to pass up.

Watch from the viewpoint of a tiny droid as Darth Vader makes his entrance.

Get some air

Ski jumping doesn't give you much room for error, and unless you train for a long time, chances are you'll never get to try it.

Fortunately, in this video, you can ride down the long ramp and get crazy air without having to worry about injuries.

A tour of Azeroth

World of Warcraft fans will appreciate this tour of Azeroth where you'll fly past giant spires and castles while being able to look around at all the architecture you pass.

It's important to note that this is not what you would see in game, but is instead the expansive city from the World of Warcraft movie coming in 2016.
