The Xiaomi Mi A1 is a new low-cost phone that runs pure Android and will be available in 40 markets. It will cost approximately $235, £180 and AU$295 converted.
The phone runs Android Nougat 7.1.2.
The 12-megapixel dual-cameras give you a 2x optical zoom, and is capable of taking portrait-mode shots like the iPhone 7 Plus.
The camera app is tweaked to let you do 2x optical zoom.
The A1 uses USB Type-C.
It's just 7.3mm thick.
Interestingly, the A1 packs an infra-red blaster.
The fingerprint sensor is located at the rear.
