Xiaomi's Mi QiCycle folding electric bike is small but powerful
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi adds yet another product to its diverse portfolio. This time, it's a bicycle.
Xiaomi's Mi QiCycle is an electric folding bike that costs 2,999 yuan (which converts to $450, £340 and AU$600) and has a range of 45 km (27 miles).
It uses a three-speed Shimano internal hub so you don't have to worry about your chain slipping loose when switching gears.
The 36V, 5,800 mAh battery also doubles up as a rear light, and fits snugly inside the frame. You'll have to go through two locks above and below the frame to pull out the battery.
The motor is on the front wheel of the QiCycle.
When pedaling it's actually quite easy to adjust the amount of electrical assistance you get from the controller. You can also sync your phone with the bike to track your distance.
