
From outside and across the street...
Upon getting closer one notices a heavy police presence...
But of course, it's a protest. I asked what they were protesting and one of the guards told me "scissors."
I move in for a closer look and understand that "scissors" means cuts, of course-- layoffs.
Inside it's business as usual.
This is my first MWC but I'm told the new venue has much more space to spread out.
There are so many companies represented here, this sign full of logos gives you an idea of just how large this event is.
Moving sidewalks help the journalists move quickly between the various Halls.
From the balcony over Hall 3 you can see the hordes of people milling about.
Finally down in it now, we've reached the show floor.
