This sleek Bluetooth mirror needs to aim higher
The Viio Vezzo Bluetooth Mirror should take a cold, hard look at itself... in itself.
The Viio Vezzo Bluetooth Mirror is 32-by-24 inches, and includes some cool extra features. The question is, can it justify its price tag?
You can toggle any of the main three features using the three touch-sensitive buttons on the face of the Vezzo. The most useful feature is the LED light that borders the mirror. The light works well for makeup, and detail work in particular.
The second feature is Bluetooth connectivity. You can sync your phone to the mirror's speakers to play music, audiobooks or whatever else you can access on your phone.
While the speaker quality on the Vezzo isn't too impressive, the mirror includes a microphone, allowing you to chat hands-free with friends via Bluetooth.
The final button toggles an anti-fog feature, which heats the mirror above the dew point, so condensation doesn't settle on the surface.
The mirror plugs into the wall outlets you typically find beside vanities, but it also includes a 6-hour battery when you need to free up space for a trimmer or hair straightener.
While the mirror's features work pretty well, it's disappointing to see the potential for visual components and voice assistance go unmet.
For $400 (roughly £330 and AU$530), the Viio Vezzo Bluetooth Mirror isn't a terrible deal. It just won't revolutionize your bathroom.
