Tiny Toyota S-FR was a desirable and inexpensive sports car concept

Toyota dusted off its sports car credentials with the S-FR concept, a coupe measuring just over 13 feet long.

The S-FR used a front engine and rear-wheel-drive layout, which would've given it suitable handling for enthusiasts. Toyota pointed out that the engine was set back from the front axle, making weight more evenly distributed.

Fifteen-inch wheels seem small for a modern car, but they fit the proportions of the S-FR well. High, black sidewalls also gave it a historic vibe.

As a concept, Toyota didn't specify an engine for the S-FR, so power was left to the imagination.

Surprisingly, there were rear seats in the S-FR, although legroom and access was minimal. The shifter on the console hinted at a six-speed manual transmission, but again, the drivetrain was not specified.

The dashboard concept usesd a smartphone holder in the center, and a digital gauge display for the driver. A flat patch on the left steering wheel spoke suggested a thumb-operated touchpad.
