Mario Kart real racetrack has the smarts to keep you on track
Hot Wheels' Intelligent Race System lets you pilot Nintendo's characters on a real-life Mario Kart racetrack.
It's a real Mario Kart!
Mario Kart racing won't need a television anymore with this special edition of the Hot Wheels AI Intelligent Racing System.
The race controller
Instead of a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller, you will use this to steer your racer on the track.
Only go off-road when you want to
This track is smart enough to keep all the racers within its boundaries by default. To turn that off, you can select "RC Mode" on the controller.
Buildable track
The Starter Set's track comes in 26 pieces that can be reshaped into 20 unique tracks.
Race sounds
Race sounds and character voices play from the remote.
Coming in October
The starter kit, which will include the track along with Mario and Yoshi cars, is going to be a Toys "R" Us exclusive releasing in October for $135 (pricing converts roughly to £105 and AU$170). Other Mario Kart characters will be sold separately for $25 (roughly £20 and AU$30).
