The Sprint Force within
Available for $49.99 after users sign a two-year agreement and send in for a rebate, the Sprint Force is a 4G LTE handset running Android 4.0.
Hard to see in sunlight
The 4-inch WVGA display has a 800x480-pixel resolution. Though the touch screen is responsive, it's also very reflective, making it difficult to view outdoors.
A sturdy construction
The Force is 0.47-inch thick and weighs 5.4 ounces. Low on the right edge sits a shortcut camera key.
Texturized for extra grip
The back plate is made out of a matte soft-touch plastic that's textured with small dotted indents. Using a slit at the bottom, you can pop the plate off to access the battery and microSD card slot.
Up close with the camera
Some of the 5-megapixel camera's features include a digital zoom, four shooting modes including macro and panorama, 16 Instagram-esque filters, and five photo sizes (from 640x480 to 2,592x1,944).
For good measure
On the left side are a Micro-USB port for charging and a volume rocker. Altogether it measures 4.88 inches tall and 2.54 inches wide.
What's inside?
Powering the handset is a 1,730mAh battery, which has a reported talk time of nine hours, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
