The sights of Star Wars Celebration (pictures)
Star Wars Celebration rolls on in Anaheim, Calif., and CNET's Ashley Esqueda rolled out to get a look at some of the amazing things you can see there.
Star Wars Celebration
Like the sign behind this adorable Princess Leia says, "Join the worldwide Star Wars family." Star Wars Celebration is a four-day fan festival that this year landed in Anaheim, Calif.
A work of art
This stunning piece by artist Robert Xavier Burden is called "The 20th Century Space Opera."
Stormtroopers, assemble!
Not sure if this group of Lego stormtroopers has noticed the giant human looming underneath them.
Now that is a snappy spring ensemble
Quick, count all the Millennium Falcons you see in this person's outfit.
The Twi'lek zone
It's amazing the variety of characters people dress up as at Celebration events.
Us? Evil?
The addition of tutus takes a little of the evil edge off of Darth Vader and this stormtrooper. And yet they totally work with the outfits.
Yub nub!
It's not a celebration without Ewoks!
Sand. It gets everywhere.
The sandtroopers seem to have a fairly liberal intern program.
Yodog?
When 900 years old you reach, look as adorable you will not.
Everyone say 'nerfherder!'
It's always a good time for a group photo.
The happy couple
I love to imagine that Han and Leia have a picture like this in an album: "Me in Boushh armor with Han, who's just hanging around."
What is this, a convention? Oh, right.
That is a LOT of stormtroopers.
Aren't they a little small to be stormtroopers?
Oh, I see. I wonder if this guy is working security to make sure no one knocks any of the action figures over.
Lots o' Leias
It's neat to see the variations on this iconic outfit from 'Return of the Jedi.'
Ballerinatrooper
Again, a tutu goes with stormtrooper armor much better than we'd have thought.
Probably can't use this in the commuter lane
Honestly, I wouldn't mind commuting every now and then if I rode one of these.
A dish best served cold
Chef Vader gets a little revenge on a Gungan fellow. Hey, one of those ears is a meal in itself!
