Tell me, O Samsung Ativ Odyssey
LAS VEGAS--Announced earlier this fall at Microsoft's official Windows Phone 8 launch, the Samsung Ativ Odyssey basically looks like the WP8 version of the Galaxy S3.
Flipping through apps
Multitasking on the Odyssey. The device has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 800x480-pixel resolution.
Camera for shutterbugs
The Odyssey sports a 5-megapixel camera on the back and is equipped with a physical shortcut camera key on the right spine.
Hamming it up for the cam
Say cheese! Our own CNET TV producer poses for the handset's camera, which is capable of shooting 1080p HD video. On the front is a 1.2-megapixel camera
Not quite Siri
The limited voice command features that are included in Windows Phone 8.
An expandable memory
Rat packs would be relieved to know that the Odyssey has a microSD card slot. In addition, the 4G LTE device has a little over 8GB of onboard storage and 1GB of RAM.
Underneath its hood
Powering the handset is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a 2,100mAH battery.
