The Orbit B-hyve combines dated looks with modern smarts

The affordable Orbit B-Hyve costs $100 for a six-zone controller or $120 for 12 zones. Replace your existing controller and the B-Hyve will watch the weather and help you schedule your sprinklers.

Connect the B-Hyve to your Wi-Fi network, and you'll be able to control it with your phone or the buttons on the front panel. 

The B-Hyve comes in waterproof case so it's ready to endure the outdoors. 

Connect power and the wires for your zones and you'll be up and running. 

Setup is as simple as installing a thermostat.

You'll want to set up the app as well. Once you do that, you can program schedules or let the B-Hyve do that for you. 

For the smart schedules, you'll want to tell the B-Hyve about each zone so it knows how much to water. 

Not only can you control the B-Hyve with your phone, it works with Amazon's Alexa, so you can control it with voice commands to Amazon's smart speaker, the Amazon Echo.
