The iMac Pro is the latest in the iMac family, and it has enough power to top any existing desktop, including Apple's Mac Pro.
The new iMac Pro shares a very similar design to that of previous iMacs.
The power button is located at the usual spot: on the back of the computer.
On the inside, it's totally different. The new desktop is equipped with processors up to an 18-Core Xeon from Intel.
It will use up to 128GB of ECC system memory.
It will have enough capacity to produce up to 22 Teraflops of processing power.
The new iMac uses a completely new GPU core, the Radeon Vega from AMD, with up to 16GB of VRAM. This means this machine is not just for gamers but also for serious graphics professionals.
The new desktop is powerful enough to do even the most demanding tasks, including real-time 4K rendering.
Unlike the MacBook Pro, the iMac Pro has a lot of peripheral ports, including four Thunderbolt 3 ports, four regular USB ports, one SD card slot and even a 10Gbps network port. Basically, with this machine you can hook up two 5K displays and two RAID arrays to it.
The iMac Pro will comes with both an Apple keyboard and mouse.
Or you can opt for a keyboard-and-touchpad set.
The new iMac pro is now slated to be the most powerful Mac desktop to date.
