Apple's minimalist packaging remains the same.
Inside the box, you'll find a MacBook, AC adapter, and some paperwork. You no longer get physical OS X restore discs (or even the more recent USB key version).
Both sizes, side by side.
Interestingly, both sizes are equally thick.
This is still a 13-inch laptop, so it's not as grab-and-go portable as the 11-inch version.
We'd still love to see some edge-to-edge glass on these Airs.
Note that only the 13-inch Air has an SD card slot.
The new trackpad gestures took a little getting used to.
The 11-inch looks nearly identical to its big brother at first glance.
But, the keyboard spacing is slightly different, even though both have the same-size trackpad.
The DisplayPort output now doubles as a Thunderbolt port.
