Revolution
Big, bold numbers: this might be the best-looking watch face on the Pebble. The numbers slide into place when the time changes. Plus, date and day are tucked away on the bottom. This is the best use of Pebble display real estate on a watch face I've seen. (All Pebble apps were downloaded via Pebble's watch face directory and mypebblefaces.com.)
Fez
Funky off-angle wire frame number-blocks turn to the opposite side every minute.
Bold Hour
Nice use of space: the minutes nest within the bigger hour number's shape.
LinesWatch
It might take a few moments to figure out how to read the time, but hour and minutes clearly show up in four large numbers. Again, the lines slide and animate every minute.
Pebblis
Someone actually made a Tetris clone for the Pebble, and it works pretty well. The right-side buttons move the blocks left and right, while the middle button rotates. A little hard to control on your wrist, but it's free and it reminds me of Nintendo's Game & Watch.
Polar
Another minimalist watch face with elegant design, Polar shows simple digital time in the middle, and concentric rings mark off hour, minute, and seconds.
Quadrants
Time on the outside, date on the inside. Just make sure you don't reverse it.
Noms
Something is eating the time. It has cute eyes. Every minute it gnashes its teeth. I had a t-shirt with this critter on it years ago.
Calendar
A simple calendar app, available in black or white, just gives a quick look at when the days and dates fall. No actual calendar data integration yet.
Past Present Future
Utterly ridiculous: a Back to the Future-inspired readout just shows the minute before, the current minute, and the next minute. Good for those who want to feel a little fuzzy about the actual time.
Illusion
Look closely: can you see "11:57" in the line patterns? So subtle that you might forget to tell the time.
Stopwatch
Does what it says it does: adds a stopwatch with lap functions to the Pebble, which doesn't have a stopwatch or timer in its baked-in firmware.
LCARS
Worf, let me check my watch. This "Star Trek"-influenced readout turns the Pebble into something that could have been on Picard's wrist.
Parachute
Again, remember Nintendo's Game & Watch? This very unauthorized watch face adopts old-school LCD animations, but doesn't include a game.
Simple
Just a minute hand and an hour hand. You figure out the rest.
