The June Intelligent Oven thinks it's smarter than you

The June runs on an Nvidia Tegra processor, which companies commonly use in mobile devices. It connects to your home's Wi-Fi so you can control the June remotely from an app on your iPhone or iPad.

June built a high-definition camera into the top of the oven. The camera has two functions: It works with the oven's Food ID software to identify foods you place in the oven, and it captures footage of your food cooking that you can stream live on the June app.

You don't have to use the Food ID feature or the June app every time you cook. You can operate the June from the touchscreen control panel on the oven's door.

There are 47 preprogrammed cook settings on the June, so you can scroll through the menu, select the food you're cooking and the June will cook it without much more input from you.

The 5-inch control panel has a responsive touchscreen, but you can also use the knob on the front of the oven to make selections on the main menu.

Two convection fans in the back of the June help circulate hot air for more even cooking.

Rounded edges give the June a sleek appearance. The ovens that will ship to customers who preordered will have a slightly different color, the company says.

The June company will begin to ship ovens to customers who preordered units in December. You can order a June online at the company's website, though it's US-only for now.
