Inside the unassuming exterior of the GE GDF520PGJWW is room for 16 place settings. It runs at a quiet 54 dB. It's a solid cleaner and performed well above average as a dryer.

Silverware

The silverware basket offers a surprising amount of flexibility. You can place it on the edge of the bottom rack, or hang it from the door.

Test scores

You'll want to rinse or scrape your dishes before loading them into the GDF520PGJWW, but it does a fine job handling stuck-on dirt.

A dry finish

The GDF520PGJWW doesn't have a lot of extras, but it does get the basics right at an appealing price.
