Taste good, these Star Wars-themed mooncakes do
If you're a Star Wars fan in Asia, you should really try to get your hands on these pretty boxes of delicious mooncakes.
Retailing at around S$104 for a set of two (which converts to about $75, £60 and AU$100), these Star Wars-themed boxes are filled with delicious pastries called mooncakes. Made by Hong Kong bakery chain Mei Xin, these boxes are traditionally given out during the Mid-Autumn Festival, a Chinese holiday.
The Darth Vader box comes with four mooncakes filled with Lava Chocolate.
On the other hand, the Stormtrooper mooncakes sport a rebel logo for some reason and are filled with egg custard.
The inside of the box features a stylish Vader print, which can easily be used as a decoration piece.
The Stormtrooper box also features a beautiful printed interior.
Each mooncake weighs around 45g, which makes each pastry really expensive at around $9 per mouthful.
Here's what the mooncakes look like without packaging. Best served microwaved, so the Lava Chocolate and Egg Custard filling are piping hot and melted.
