Unlike previous MyTouch models, the MyTouch 4G has a premium design. It features stainless-steel parts, which gives it a much more solid feel. The smartphone will be available in white, black, red, and plum.
The screen measures 3.7 inches diagonally and has a WVGA resolution.
Though the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G is heavier than its family members, the smartphone is still very thin, so it doesn't feel bulky. In all, the handset measures 4.8 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.4 inch thick and weighs 5 ounces.
Below the display, you'll find an optical touch pad and the typical Android shortcuts for home, menu, and back. However, instead of a search key, you get T-Mobile's Genius button, which activates the system's voice command function where you can conduct searches, call contacts, and more with the sound of your voice.
